ITEF Engages with Embassy of India in Kuwait: Fostering Innovation, Training & Startups

On August 7, 2025, the International Tamil Engineers Forum (ITEF) – a dynamic, non-profit professional body representing over **5,000 Tamil engineers across 12 global chapters** – held a pivotal meeting at the Embassy of India in Kuwait.

ITEF is registered under the Government of India’s Companies Act, 2013 as a Section VIII company and is headquartered in Chennai.

Leadership

The organization is overseen by a 10-member Board of Directors. Key leaders include Er. Krishna Jegan (Chairman), Er. Selvam (Managing Director), and Er. Muthu Kumar (Operations Director). Leadership representation present in Kuwait for this meeting included Kuwait Director Dr. Makendran, UAE Director Er. Karthik Ramaraj, and esteemed advisor Padma Shri & Padma Bhushan, Dr. Sivathanu Pillai – widely known as the “Father of BrahMos”.
